It was observed that the situation in the area has become deplorable. Streets and patios are flooded. People do not have normal mobility.
From the Khazar District Executive Authority on the issue Oku.AzThe fact was confirmed in response to the request of
It was reported that the intense and heavy rains caused the water table to rise in the aforementioned area and the formation of the subsoil process:
“Thus, the absence of a centralized sewage network in the area and the discharge of wastewater from private buildings into underground cesspools dug in the courtyard create the basis for an increase in the dynamics of the flooding process.
Rising groundwater levels have led to subsidence of surrounding areas and the creation of small ponds in separate areas. In this sense, the rainwater evacuation work was carried out with the participation of techniques from the departments and companies operating in the region.”
The announcement states that two groundwater pumps have been installed in the Shagan settlement.
“Each of them injects 250 cubic meters of water into the hatches per day. Currently, the water is extracted from that area.
In addition, to continue the mentioned works, the regional executive branch sent a request to the Unified Service for Water Supply of Large Cities of the State Agency for Water Resources of Azerbaijan,” the statement underlines.
