THE García Castañón Street in Pamplona has become in recent years the epicenter of trendy restaurants and bars of the Navarrese capital. For several weeks he has been boasting a new one: Mestizo Gastro Club. This bar provides a very innovative leisure formula with three formats: after worklate and brunch.
Alex Muguiro Alzórriz26 years old, and Rosa Castillejo Sanchez30 years old, is a young couple of entrepreneurs behind the creation of Métis Gastro Club. “I come from the nightlife industry and we both wanted to start our own business,” he explains.
They therefore opted for a city center hotel business. “We wanted a place in a lively neighborhood. And this street is gaining a lot of strength,” he insists. “Between all of us we make peace.”
This new bar in Pamplona is exploding three different types of formats: brunch, after work and late. It is also ready to welcome events and celebrations. It is the only place in Pamplona that concentrates these three leisure offers. Decorated in a modern style, dominated by neon lights, it is a perfect place to disconnect from work or the frenzy of the week.
Métis Gastro Club Open Wednesday to Sunday. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 6 p.m., the after work will be the protagonist. On Saturday from 8 p.m. there will be afternoon. And on Sunday, from 12 p.m., there will be a brunch.
One of main novelties of this new bar in Pamplona lies in the fact that it offers free tapas during the after work and the brunch. “We offer a tapa with the barrel, the beer or the third. If you opt for a soft drink, water, must or wine, there is a supplement of 0.40 cents,” explains Muguiro. “At the end of the day, it’s always courtesy.”

“We had to put it up because a lot of people had seen the photo and came to ask for it but didn’t know what it was,” he explains. Now there is no room for doubt. “We have four flavors: mojito original, strawberry, mango and passion fruit”, says his companion.
