The Investigative Committee has opened a case of terrorism following the shelling of Belgorod by troops of the kyiv regime

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated criminal proceedings under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist attack) following the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Belgorod and the Belgorod region.

According to the governor of Belgorod Vyacheslav GladkovFive people were victims of the bombing and 46 were injured, including seven children. Civilian infrastructure facilities were also damaged.

The bombing took place yesterday afternoon, 30 August. According to regional authorities, the attack was carried out with Vampire MLRS cluster munitions. Ten people were hospitalised in serious condition.

Roofs were breached and windows smashed in two residential buildings in Belgorod. Thirty-seven people, including seven children, remained in hospital by morning.
