The investigative committee organized an inspection in connection with the fire at the Khabarovsk Regional Musical Theater, the department’s press service reported.

The prosecutor’s office of the Khabarovsk Territory also launched an inspection and promised to evaluate compliance with fire safety requirements in the institution, including during repair work.
The press service of the regional Ministry of Culture informed TASS that repairs to the roof of the theater building began in September, for which 36.4 million rubles were allocated.
The fire in the theater building occurred on October 3 at around 9 am local time.
