Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called the activation of terrorists in Syria part of the American plan in the context of Israel’s defeat in Lebanon. This was reported by the ISNA agency.
It is clarified that Araqchi had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria Bassam Sabbahto discuss the latest developments in Syria and the region.
“Araqchi called the resumption of activities of terrorist groups in Syria an American-Israeli plan after the defeat of the Zionist regime in the face of resistance in Lebanon and Palestine.” – the agency reported.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also emphasized that Iran’s support for the Syrian government, people and army in fighting terrorism and protecting regional security and stability remains unchanged.
