Yesterday, a couple fell victim to carbon monoxide poisoning in Nizami village in Goranboy district. Akbarov, son of Kemal Gurbanli, born in 1958, and his wife, Ayida Ali gizi Akbarova, born in 1960, were asphyxiated by carbon monoxide in their home.

According to Modern.az, the couple who lost their lives are former internally displaced people from Kalbajar district.

His children lived in the Dashkasan district. Relatives of the deceased say that the daughters and other relatives of the deceased couple called them many times during the day, but they could not get in touch. It was later learned that the former IDPs had died.

Relatives found their bodies in the living room. According to relatives, the heater called “Iranian stove” installed in the living room was not installed properly and carbon dioxide leaked into the room. Both men died at the scene.

The bodies of the deceased were handed over to the Goranboy district branch of the public legal entity of the Union of Forensic Medical Expertise and Pathological Anatomy for examination. The incident is being investigated.
