The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said an Israeli bulldozer blew up an observation tower and the fence of a UN position in southern Lebanon.
Oku.Az reports that the mission reported about this on the “Telegram” channel.
“Today morning, the Israel Defense Forces (SAHAL) bulldozer deliberately destroyed the observation tower and fence of the UN position in Marvahin,” the information states.
UNIFIL reiterated its obligations to all parties to ensure the security of personnel and assets of the peacekeeping mission in Lebanon and to respect the integrity of UN facilities. The mission also noted that despite the pressure on them, the peacekeepers continue in all their positions.
