The Israel Defense Forces (SAXAL) killed the commander of the rocket unit of the Hezbollah organization in southern Lebanon, Ali Tawfik Dueik.
Oku.Az As TASS reports, this is stated in a statement from the army press service.
“Dueik has been in command of the medium-range missile unit since September 2024. He replaced the previous commander who was destroyed,” the statement said.
The press service noted that Ali Tawfik was responsible for launching more than 300 rockets towards Haifa and central Israel.
