The Israeli army (SAHAL) launched a new military operation against the radical armed groups of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Jabaliya refugee camp, located in the north of the Gaza Strip, and attacked dozens of targets.
Oku.Az TASS reports that the army press service published information about this.
Before and during the operation, the Israeli Air Force attacked “dozens of military targets” in the region to support the movements of ground units, according to an army statement.
“Among the targets were weapons depots, underground infrastructure facilities, terrorist groups and other military infrastructure facilities,” they said in the press service.
“Operation Jabaliya, whose objective is to systematically destroy terrorist infrastructure in the region, will continue as long as necessary to achieve the set objectives,” the army explained.
