Judge Juan Carlos Peinado summoned as a witness María Cristina Álvarez, the Moncloa employee who handled Begoña Gómez’s personal affairs.
More specifically, she serves as Director of Presidential Programs. And the magistrate will take his statement on December 20, at 11:30 a.m.
This appears in a resolution to which EL ESPAÑOL had access. As confirmed by emails published by this newspaper, Álvarez contacted the Complutense University, where Gómez, wife of the president of the government, co-directed two chairs, for which she made arrangements.
In fact, another email, put forward by this newspaper, shows that the Moncloa worker urged the Reale Seguros company to continue financing one of these chairs. And he did it in the name of Pedro Sánchez’s wife. “Begoña tells me to tell you that she would like you to continue as a patron…” Álvarez says in the e-mail addressed to the insurance company.
