The 17-year-old young man arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the sexist murder this Sunday of Chloe, only 15 years old, with a knife in the neck on the coast of Orihuela, province of Alicante, was hospitalized in a closed regime for the next six months, a period which may be extended at the request of the public prosecutor’s office.
This was accepted by the president of the permanent court of Alicante, the city’s investigating court number 9, which replaces the competent juvenile court, at the request of the juvenile prosecutor’s office after taking the testimony of the young man for several hours.
According to the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV), the service judge granted the request of the Prosecutor’s Office and accepted the precautionary measure of confinement in closed regime for six months, renewable for an additional six months at the request of the public prosecutor. in the context of legal proceedings declared secret.
The young man was arrested last Sunday evening at 11:30 p.m. and he initially had 24 hours to be made available to the Alicante Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, although this deadline was extended until noon this Tuesday in the request of the agents of the Women and Minors Team (EMUME) of the Civil Guard Command, who were responsible for the investigation.
The arrested person arrived at the Juvenile Prosecution Office, in the court in the Benalúa district of Alicante, around 2 p.m. and left the judicial premises around 6 p.m. During this time, he made a statement to the juvenile prosecutor. and then attended a visit to the duty court during which the judge accepted the precautionary measure proposed by the public prosecutor.
The crime occurred last Sunday, shortly after 8 p.m., on Morral Street, in Orihuela Costa, where the young man seriously injured Chloe with a cut on the neck, a few days after the girl decided to break off the relationship love they had.
The seriously injured victim went alone to her brother’s home, about a hundred meters from the scene of the attack, and the latter rushed her to Torrevieja Hospital, where she died after 21 hours.
