The judge of the Supreme Court, investigating Jose Luis Abolas, began the battery of the proceedings in order to carefully find out his assets. He asks the congress about all the reward of the former minister from 2014 to 2024, and also addresses PSOE to detail the money that he accused, but also the donations that he made for the party. According to the HacialDA report, the tax agency ascribes donations in the amount of 44,729.29 euros from Abolaro in PSOE, but consisting of only 8,500 euros. The goal is to clarify, says the judge, the “obvious shortcomings of the melody” in the information available on their assets: financial data do not correspond to the data of the banks.
Anyone who is known as the “Coldo case” has advanced in recent weeks in relation to relations that Jose Luis Abolas, Santos Serdan and Koldo Garcia supported with contractors and construction companies as a clarification whether they accused of any commission of burning award remuneration. Part of the investigation for several months revolves around whether the former minister has received what a gift, in payments or voting, for example, in the ward, in which one of his former partners in Madrid lived.
Judge Leopoldo Puente, at the request of the Central Operating Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard, found that in the data related to the finances of Jose Luis Abalaros. For example, the fact that the Treasury attributes more than 750,000 rewards and diets from 2014 to 2024, when the money that entered his accounts directly from the congress of deputies amounted to less than 80,000 euros.
The same applies to the money that HacienDa ascribes to PSOE donations. The report of the tax agency says that in these years Abalaros donated a little more than 44,700 euros in these years, although banking documentation only reflects payments for only 8,500 euros. The goal, explains the judge, is to find out the real data on income and donations. He asks, in relation to PSOE, “is reported from each of all the donations that were made by Jose Louis Abalass to the political party, indicating the date, method of payment, the bank account of the origin, concept and/or comments, as well as any other fact that are connected by the above fertilizers.”
The judge also asks for data on businessmen who appeared in the Supreme Court in recent days to deny that Abalaros, Serdan and the former Coldo Garcia purchased. According to him, the goal is to “complete the true patrimonial situation” of entrepreneurs and their societies. Among other things, it is asked by the data of Anxon Alonso and Servinabar, as well as the labor life of Santos Serdan and Koldo Garcia.
