The president of the Court of Instruction number 47 of Madrid was summoned to testify Tuesday November 12 to the former deputy of Sumar Iñigo Errejón as being investigated for an alleged sexual assault offense reported by actress Elisa Mouliaá.
A few days before, November 7 The actress will have to appear as a witness to ratify the complaint she filed with the police a few days ago after learning that Errejón had resigned and surrendered his deputy certificate. The appointment will start at 9:00 a.m. in both cases.
Thus, the court, chaired by Adolfo Carretero, launches the investigation into the complaint filed by Mouliaá against Errejón for an alleged crime of sexual assault.
In the complaint filed with the Family and Women Unit of the National Police (UFAM), to which laSexta had accessMouliáa recounts events that took place one night at the end of September 2021 when, after speaking on social networks for “about a year”, the politician invited the actress to the presentation of his book.
At the end of the event, they went to have a few beers at a nearby bar and Mouliáa, who had already planned to attend a party at a friend’s house that evening, “out of politeness” invited him to the to accompany. “Much to his surprise,” Errejón agreed.
She admits she was “paralyzed”
According to Mouliáa’s account, already in the car he adopted “a dominant attitude“. And in the elevator, he allegedly grabbed her “strongly” by the waist and kissed her “violently”, “leaving her out of breath”. This is the first complaint filed with the police against the co-founder of Podemos, after he announced his departure from politics.
Errejón leaves politics
Before this complaint was filed, Íñigo Errejón had announced that he was leaving his seat as a deputy in Congress and any political activitywithout citing the reasons. In the note he made public, the former politician said he did it out of “weariness” and after reaching “the limit of contradiction between character and person.”
However, the decision came days after anonymous accusations of gender-based violence were made public on social media. In fact, Errejón himself recognized Más Madrid that the accusations are true.
