The Treasury expects the 80 million euros already reserved to be exceeded after the first storm
The Government of Andalusia is already working on a second plan of aid and measures to repair the damage caused by the second high-level atmospheric depression (DANA) that the Andalusian autonomous community is going through. After a first plan of planned measureswhich amounts to more than 80 million euros, The Andalusian Government is currently analyzing all the damage and the situation to carry out a new program of measures aimed at municipalities, the agricultural sector and the repair of infrastructure.
“The Governing Council has already activated nearly 80 million euros for aid, sectors, rural roads, educational centers and town halls. But it was a plan which was based on the damage that Civil Protection counted after the first DANA. The analysis is now underway to define the different routes. We are going to exceed 80 million euros and activate more resources,” explained the Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds, Carolina España, during her visit to Alhaurín to check the effects of the heavy rainfall.
