Andalusian President Juanma Moreno announces strengthening of existing measures on personal income tax and transfer taxes and documented legal acts
The President of the Council, Juanma Moreno, confirmed during the handing over of the keys to a protected housing estate in Cádiz that the 2025 budgets will include adjustments in terms of tax deductions and aid for access to housing. These measures, which began to be implemented in 2022, affect the autonomous section of personal income tax and real estate transfer tax and documented legal acts. The president estimates that up to 40,000 people, particularly young people, could benefit.
“The Andalusian budget for 2025 will include new tax measures to facilitate access to housing for more than 40,000 Andalusianswith improvements to the deduction for the purchase of VPO or rental”, explained the President of the Council, who opted for dialogue with the central government to promote access to housing.
A few days ago, the Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds, Carolina España, already explained that the Andalusian Government would study the possibility ofIntroduce a tax cut for the next fiscal year 2025 specifically aimed at facilitating access to housing.
He explained that the Andalusian government of Juanma Moreno has already made “significant” tax cutsand that by 2025 they want to address “specific or surgical measures for a certain sector or segment of the population, or for a certain problem such as housing”.
