The Governing Council of the Government of Castile and Leon will approve this Thursday, at its ordinary meeting, the agreement by which it will present an appeal of unconstitutionality against the amnesty law approved by Parliament at the initiative of the Spanish government.
This was announced by the President of the Autonomous Executive, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, who considered the rule “inadmissible and unconstitutional” because it “violates the equality of all Spaniards”, which is why, after the presentation of the report of the Consultative Council that approves the presentation of the appeal, the Governing Council will approve tomorrow the decision to present the appeal through the Council’s legal services before September 11.
At the Government Council last Thursday, first after the summer holidays, the spokesman, Carlos Fernández Carriedo, already announced that the appeal would be presented without expiring the deadline, three months after the publication of this law in the BOE.
