King Felipe VI arrived on Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. at the Jaime I military base in Bétera (Valencia) and had lunch with the contingent deployed in the area due to the floods caused by DANA fourteen days ago.
Currently, the head of state is meeting with the Military Emergency Unit (UME), which assigned him a location point in the area, and from the base he will travel to the amphibious assault ship Galicia, located in the port of Valencia. .
Finally, around 7:30 p.m., Felipe VI will visit the main logistics base of the Army located at the Feria Valencia, where he will address a few words to the troops.

The king, dressed in campaign costume, traveled to Valencia accompanied by the lieutenant general head of the UME, Javier Marcos, lieutenant colonel Ángel Martínez Puy and major general Fernando Carrillo, in addition to the minister of of Defense, Margarita Robles, and her chief of staff, Admiral Antonio Cordero.
The trip to Valencia was the first that Felipe VI made after the one he made with the Queen on the 3rd to the municipality of Paiporta in the company of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, and where outraged neighbors shouted “murderers” and threw mud and objects at them.
