The Kremlin described as “definitely exaggerated” the statements of the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, that he is capable of ending the conflict in Ukraine in just 24 hours.
Recall that during the debate, Kamala Harris noted that although Trump considers Vladimir Putin his friend, “he would literally eat him for lunch.” Kremlin press secretary Dmitri Peskov was asked to comment on these words.
“Putin doesn’t eat people,” he told reporters.
Peskov was also asked about the existence of official contacts between Trump’s team and Moscow. “No. For what purpose should we do this?” he replied.
Let us remember that Donald Trump won the US elections. He has already been congratulated by current President Joe Biden and his opponent Kamala Harris. Trump has repeatedly said he can end the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours, promising to take steps to do so immediately after taking office.
Previously, Kursor wrote about what Trump’s victory means for the Russian Federation and how Putin will act. According to the diplomat, Trump’s policy may be more decisive and active than that of the Biden administration.
