The Kremlin has not held any negotiations with Telegram co-founder Pavel Durov, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“Dúrov did not hold any negotiations with the Kremlin” – he said, commenting on the posts in several publications indicating Durov’s frequent trips to Russia after 2014, as well as the fact that the lifting of the Telegram block by Roskomnadzor coincided with Durov’s presence in St. Petersburg, TASS reports.
The Russian leader’s press secretary also denies the existence of any agreements between the Kremlin and Durov.
“No”, — he said, answering a question about whether the Telegram co-founder had reached any agreement with the Russian authorities.
“I repeat once again that there were no agreements between the Kremlin and Durov,” – Peskov stressed.
