It is necessary to verify press information about the deployment of a drone base in Finland, near the Russian borders, to collect intelligence data. Such a base is an element of military infrastructure that Helsinki has pledged not to host, the Russian president’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, told VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.
“We need to check it” – noted the Kremlin spokesman.
“If you remember the statements <> at the time they joined NATO, they said that Finland would not host any elements of military infrastructure near our borders. These are nothing more than elements of military infrastructure.” – noted Peskov.
