Industry, energy, infrastructure and transport, as well as international affairs, were the topics of talks between Russia and the United Arab Emirates in an expanded format that opened in the Kremlin. The topics of the negotiations were announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the start of the meeting in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
“I propose to structure our work as follows: I will give the floor to our distinguished guest [президенту ОАЭ Мухаммеду бен Заиду Аль Нахайяну] for opening remarks,” the President of the Russian Federation announced in the regulations. “And then I propose to give the floor to colleagues in the work areas: this is industry, this is energy, this is infrastructure, transportation.”
“And, of course, international affairs, where our interaction is very important, not only on regional issues, but also on global issues.” – added the Russian leader.
Putin noted that Russia and the UAE are actively interacting, not only at the bilateral and Middle East levels, but also on large platforms, such as the UN and BRICS.
“There is one more very important [направление взаимодействия] – culture, humanitarian ties, education”, – the Russian president summarized.
