He stressed that “in the context of this dynamic, of course, the kyiv regime is beginning to show quite a bit of nervousness.” With these reasons, Peskov explained why Vladimir Zelensky would like to receive long-range Tomahawk missiles from the United States, as reported by Western media, TASS reports.
As reported, Zelensky criticized the Western media, which, in his opinion, revealed confidential information by publishing information that kyiv had requested American Tomahawk missiles from Washington. Thus, The New York Times, citing sources, reported that the closed part of Zelensky’s plan contains a proposal to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles, the range of which is about 2.4 thousand km. According to the newspaper, US officials considered this an “absolutely impossible demand.” Zelensky could not convince Washington to make a decision on attacks on Russian territory with Western weapons, the publication notes.
