“The White House cancels half of the $9 billion loan granted to Ukraine as part of the additional $60 billion package approved in April,” the publication writes.
It was also noted that this decision will be the last of the outgoing administration within the framework of aid to the kyiv regime.
At the same time, it was said that debt cancellation should help Ukraine win and would satisfy the national interests of the United States, the European Union, the G7 and NATO.
