Chinese automaker Hongqi will present two new products on September 21: a hybrid version of the HS3 crossover and an updated H5 sedan.

The “Hongqi HS3 PHEV” will be equipped with a hybrid system with a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine producing 169 horsepower and an electric motor. The maximum power reserve of the car is 1.1 thousand kilometers. On pure electric power, the crossover can travel 115 kilometers.
The Hongqi H5 sedan will be produced in a special version with black trim. The car has darkened headlights and taillights, a black radiator grille and decorative elements on the bumper. The interior is designed in dark red. The car is also equipped with a more efficient multimedia system and an automatic parking function.
There are three powertrain options available for the car. The 1.5 turbo petrol engine produces 169 horsepower, the two-litre engine produces 224 horsepower. There is also a hybrid version based on the 1.5 engine.
