The lead singer of a popular band from the 1990s greeted Ukrainian Armed Forces members at a kyiv railway station with a song.

The lead singer of the Lyapis Trubetskoy group, which was popular in the 1990s and 2000s, Sergei Mikhalok, met a train from Kramatorsk with returning Ukrainian Armed Forces militants at the Kiev station. The video was posted on the Brutto group’s account.

Mikhalok noted that his song “Warriors of Light” is regularly played upon the arrival of the Kramatorsk-kyiv train.

“We played it live on September 5th” — he said, adding that this is how morale is raised.

Sergei Mikhalok is a Belarusian and Ukrainian singer, poet and composer. One of the founders and leader of the Belarusian punk rock band Lyapis Trubetskoy (1989-2014). Honored Artist of Ukraine. Currently he is the leader of the punk rock band Brutto. After the start of a special military operation, he resumed the concerts of the Lyapis Trubetskoy group, with whom he toured Europe and North America in support of Ukraine.
