The famous Brazilian striker Ronaldo wants to become president of his country’s Football Confederation (CBF).
Oku.Az reports that the legendary soccer player plans to run as a candidate in next year’s elections. The former striker nicknamed “El Fenómeno” has strong support from both businessmen and famous footballers.
If Ronaldo, 48, becomes president, he would be considering appointing Josep Guardiola, whose contract with English club Manchester City expires next year, as coach of the Brazilian team.
It should be noted that Ronaldo currently owns shares in the Spanish clubs Real Valladolid and Brazilian Cruzeiro.
