Baku TV prepared a report about Emrah Rajapov, a martyr of the Patriotic War who grew up in an orphanage.
Amrah, who saw battle from the early days of the war, was martyred while saving his comrade in the trenches during the battles for the Fuzuli district.
Shahla Namazova, the teacher of the orphanage where the martyr grew up, while talking about her memories, noted that Amrah always longed for her mother:
“He was one of the best educated and talented children in the group. He said that when I go to military service, I will give my life for the country, I will reach the height of martyrdom. We had a mother… childhood love with Amrah. That’s how I felt in the moment he was martyred.”
Gunel Rajapova, the martyr’s aunt, said her mother abandoned Amrah when she was two months old.
“He said that whether he is kicked out or given to an orphanage, I want to live my own life. After Amrah was buried, he came out and contacted me. At first, he spoke kindly and said he would come. Later, “he would take me to court and take away the money I owed Amrah.”
