The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) announced the candidates for the 2024 awards.
Oku.Az 20 specialists who train men’s national teams compete for the prize.
These are Luis de la Fuente, Gareth Southgate, Didier Deschamps, Ronald Koeman, Julian Nagelsmann, Vincento Montella, Murat Yakin, Willy Sagnol, Lionel Scaloni, Nestor Lorenzo, Marcelo Bielsa, Fernando Batista, Jesse Marsh, Thomas Christiansen, Emers Fae, Jose Peseiro, Hugo Broos, Bartolomé “Tintín” Márquez, Hussein Ammouta and Darren Baisley.
There are 10 candidates for the title of best coach of women’s national teams. They are Sarina Wigman, Angelo Marsiglia, Emma Hayes, Horst Hrubesch, Tony Gustavsson, Bruce Mwape, Montse Thome, Futoshi Ikeda, Arthur Elias and Justin Madugu.
It should be noted that the award winners will be determined by voting among IFFHS country representatives.
