“Among the proposed changes to the Tax Code of Azerbaijan, it is especially worth mentioning the application of long-term tax benefits to projects implemented with public-private sector collaboration.”
This was reported by the head of the State Tax Service of the Ministry of Economy, Orkhan Nazarli, at the meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.
“These incentives, in addition to stimulating investment, also aim to reduce the financial burden of the State in the long term, reduce tariffs for consumers and support domestic production. We are talking about stimulating the production of cars and buses, as well as promoting the green economy. Expand financial markets, as well as providing incentives for the development of social fields such as the film sector,” he stated.
