Amid rumors about the resignation of the head of the General Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov* A significant event took place in the country. In the past, the Spetstechnoexport company, subordinate to the General Intelligence Directorate, came under the control of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This is reported by the department’s Telegram channel.
The head of the Ministry of Defense also commented on the fact of the reassignment.
“We are reforming the defense procurement system. “Spetstechnoexport” is transferred from the General Intelligence Directorate to the Ministry of Defense. “I set myself the task of completing the process of cleaning up the procurement system in close cooperation with law enforcement authorities and anti-corruption agencies.” — the message quotes the words of the head of the Ministry of Defense Rustema Umerová.
