Security forces have detained a man who beat up a member of the SVO in Balashikha near Moscow, the press service of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region reported this today, September 18.
“A 39-year-old local resident was detained as part of a criminal investigation on suspicion of attacking a member of the SVO (Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).” – says the message.
According to the Investigative Commission, on September 13, near a grocery store, a drunk man had an unfounded verbal conflict with a soldier and his wife, and then hit him several times in the head and torso. After this, the attacker fled the scene and the victim had to seek medical help.
An investigator is currently working with the detainee. The question of filing charges against him and choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
