The man who beat a taxi driver in the Moscow region was detained in the Tula region

In the Tula region, police detained a man who beat up a taxi driver in Lyubertsy near Moscow. Law enforcement agencies in the region reported this today, September 2.

“A man born in 1994 has been detained in the Tula region on suspicion of beating a taxi driver.” – the message said.

Representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk He said the man was detained by police in Aleksin together with law enforcement officers from the Moscow region.

“The man, who had previously been convicted on several occasions, was transferred to the investigating authorities for a procedural decision.” — he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The incident occurred on August 30 on Initiative Street in the north of the city of Lyubertsy. The man, who used the services of a taxi driver, refused to pay the fare. The passenger severely beat the driver and then fled. A criminal case was opened against him under the article on hooliganism (part 1 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
