Zulfugar Ismikhanov, accused of killing his 85-year-old mother with a piece of wood in Guba, was convicted.
According to “Report”, the trial in the Sumgayit serious crimes court, presided over by Judge Fahmin Humbatov, has ended.
According to the sentence, he was sentenced to 14 years and 6 months in prison.
It should be noted that the incident took place in Bagbanlar village in the Guba region in December last year.
According to the indictment, Zulfugar Ismikhanov, born in 1974, under the influence of alcohol, hit his mother, Zohra Ismikhanova, born in 1938, with a piece of wood. As a result, the woman died from her injuries.
Articles 120.2.4 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder with special cruelty or generally dangerous method), 120.2.9 (murder of a person clearly defenseless to the guilty party, as well as murder in connection with kidnapping or hostage-taking) was found guilty.
