Although the Karabakh conflict is now a thing of the past, we are witnessing attempts to revive it, especially recently. Countries such as the United States and France continue to organize initiatives in this direction and “support” Armenia. In fact, although these initiatives are based on the strategic interests of the aforementioned countries, Armenia also receives its share of this “support”.
The US Congress hearings devoted to the “fall of Nagorno-Karabakh” and the invitation of representatives of the dissolved separatist regime, as well as numerous initiatives of leading American and French institutions supporting the “Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh” are part of the currently implemented plan.
The initiative introduced by Congressman Adam Schiff and several other congressmen on September 18 deserves special attention. The bill proposed by pro-Armenian congressmen led by Adam Shiff is called “Restoration of Arsakh Revenues by 2024.” American congressmen who ignore the rights of Azerbaijanis, whose rights have been trampled on during the long years of the Karabakh conflict and who have been displaced from their homeland, do not “ignore” the Armenians who voluntarily left Karabakh. Let us take a look at the demands of Schiff and his “supporters.”
Pro-Armenian congressmen want:
“All U.S. financial institutions holding Azerbaijani sovereign assets would be required to report these assets to the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. Within 60 days of the Act’s adoption, the President would be required to block transactions with these assets and seize them within 90 days.
Create an “Arsakh Income Restoration Fund” that will receive confiscated assets from Azerbaijan and then use these funds to compensate displaced Armenians from Karabakh for the loss of income from their property, businesses and workplaces as a result of Azerbaijan’s “military attack.”
Personal assets in the United States should be frozen and visa restrictions should be imposed on high-ranking Azerbaijani officials and their immediate family members who participated in or supported the war in Arsakh. A streamlined process should be created to allow displaced Armenians to apply for compensation from the Fund.”
The Western model of hypocrisy is just as blatant and unspiritual. Otherwise, it is impossible to fit this “project” and “requirements” into any logic.
Frank Pallone, Anna Eshu, Gabe Amo, Joyce Beatty, Jim Costa, Josh Gottheimer, Doug Lamalfa, Seth Magaziner, James McGovern, Grace Meng, Kevin Mullin, Grace Napolitano, Eleanor Holmes Norton, Ian Schakowsky, Linda Sanchez, Brad Sherman, “”congressmen” like Dina Titus and Lori Trakhan – people who need the support and “help” of the Armenian lobby, who are able to trample on international laws and norms, human rights for their own interests, and who embody the most disgusting and ugly faces of politics, signed it.
Of course, these people are the implementing mechanisms and henchmen of Western politics. And these henchmen are not satisfied with just such a project. For example, an “investigation” commissioned by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), materials prepared by “Freedom House”, a statement by Samantha Power, a supporter of separatist Ruben Vardanyan (on the USAID investigation into the mass exodus of Armenians from Karabakh – ed.), Natalie Luazon, and the activity of the European Parliament on the perpetuation of the day of “ethnic cleansing of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh” is also of the same kind.
The goal is to implement the plan that the United States and France are trying to implement through Armenia, to revive the conflict and take advantage of this tension by creating tension in the region.
Currently, the United States and France are actively arming Armenia. Numerous documents have been signed in recent times proving this, and many agreements made behind closed doors have been revealed. The United States and France are also financially tempting Armenia. Thus, Yerevan receives a lot of help from the West, and the amount of this aid continues to increase. In addition to all this, the West is also engaged with the PR of Armenia, which it has chosen as its main accomplice in its plans. Of course, the respective companies of the United States and France are in the foreground in this matter. One of these companies is the company “Edelman”, known for advertising the aforementioned separatist Ruben Vardanyan. The reason for the company’s “popularity” in our country is the “undoubted” support provided to Vardanyan. The reason for this support is primarily his rich “experience” in money and money laundering.
The result
This plan, drawn up in the West and implemented in the Caucasus, is causing Armenia to fall into crude illusions and official Iran to fail to harden its position. The war is making Armenians forget about the humiliating defeat and Yerevan is increasingly eager to talk about Karabakh. The leaders of this country and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs do not hesitate to talk nonsense about “ethnic cleansing”.
It seems that instead of learning from history, Armenia is chasing its dreams. Only they themselves cannot understand that Armenians are only pawns of the ongoing processes, the measures taken and the zeal of the West. In such a case, they forget that one day they will be left to the hope of fate. This behavior and artificial “courage” are familiar and have been duly punished by anti-terrorist measures carried out by Azerbaijan in recent history. If Armenia tries to follow the same path again, if it wants to sink into the mud for the second time, it should not be so difficult to predict its fate.
