The mayor of Campos (Mallorca), Francisca Porquer, publicly denounced, after having previously done so before the Civil Guard, the sexist attack of a social media user.
In a message on X (formerly Twitter) Porquer denounced “the attack of disgusting machismo” which once again was featured by a social media user.
In the messages that the user posted and that Porquer shared to support her complaint, he addresses her with phrases such as “a 69 whenever you want” or “if he wants to fuck me, I’ll let him”.
In this context, the mayor of Campos, of the Popular Party, wanted to clarify that “Not everything happens, neither in politics nor in life”. “No one should tolerate this type of publication, even if they tell us verbally. “Enough!” he concluded.

Prohens shows his support
Once the mayor made the complaint public, many showed support and condemned the events. Among them, stands out the president of the government, Marga Prohens.
As Porquer did, the regional leader published a message in X: “cannot be normalized “Women who enter politics must put up with these types of sexist publications.”

“Because no, Francisca Porquer, as you say, everything does not happen”Prohens continued. “You have my full support and my condemnation of these events,” concluded the President of the Government.
