Liputan6.com, jakarta – Circulating problems in the community, with the adoption of Girik, Verponding and letters C, land that was not certified, starting in 2026, will be adopted by the state. Responding to this, General Director of Rights and Registration of Land (Dirjen PHPT) of the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Asnaedi, emphasized that the information was not true.
“Thus, the information related to the land of Girik, which is not registered until 2026 later, the land will be taken, the country is not true,” Asnaidi explained in his statement on Monday (06/30/2025) at the ATR/BPN Ministry, Jakarta.
ASNADIA explained from the past, Girik, Verpondus and other old rights were not evidence of land ownership, but could be a leadership that had the former ownership of ordinary rights/rights on a land plot.
“This is as indicated in Law No. 5/1960 regarding agricultural principles (UPA), which can be recognized by former old rights, such as Girik, confirmation and appeal in accordance with the rules,” he explained.
Asnaidi again emphasized that the state did not seize the land for the land on which there were still Girik and other old rights. “If there is Zhirik, there is land, it still controls his land, yes, there is no connection that is accepted by the state,” he explained.
To obtain information based on government regulation No. 18 of 2021, article 96 says that the written evidence of the former land belonging to individuals should be registered during the maximum period of 5 (five) years from the date of this state regulation.
In this regard, if it is calculated from the moment of the release of the PP, in 2026 it was supposed to be registered in traditional traditional affiliation.
