“With the end of the summer holiday season, especially on the days of summer vacations of schoolchildren, congestion is observed on the roads in the city center. In such a situation, difficulties arise for the movement of special equipment, including fire trucks and rescue vehicles, and for arriving at the place on time.”
Oku.Az This is stated in the call from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) to drivers of motor vehicles.
“In particular, the refusal of some drivers to give way to firefighting and rescue vehicles rushing to the scene ultimately prevents the vehicles from reaching the scene in time to quickly eliminate the consequences of fires, accidents and other incidents and minimise possible damage.
We remind you that with such behavior, such drivers are not only legally responsible, but also morally responsible for arriving on time at the scene of a fire, accident or other emergency, preventing the incident and, most importantly, saving human lives in danger.
“Therefore, every driver of a vehicle, aware of his or her responsibility, must immediately give way to firefighting and rescue vehicles with operational vehicles,” the request stresses.
