The Ministry of Science and Education was the next state institution to transfer its information systems and resources to the “Government Cloud” as part of the implementation of the decree.
The Department of Informatization of the Education System (TSII) of the Ministry has partially placed its information systems and resources in the Baku Data Center belonging to “AznTelecom” LLC, under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (DITN). TSII has ensured high availability of critical systems by migrating information resources using the Collocation service within the “Government Cloud” project.
It should be noted that the executor of the “Government Cloud” project implemented by RINN is “AzInTelecom” LLC. Within the framework of the project, IT systems of state institutions will be fully or partially migrated to AzInTelecom’s Baku and Yevlax data centers. With the migration of government agencies to the “Government Cloud”, current IT costs are reduced and the productivity of information systems is increased.
