Oku.Az reports that this is stated in the request from the Center for Intelligent Transportation Management (NIIM) of the Ministry of the Interior (MIA).
“Observations show that some drivers of wedding caravans not only completely occupy the lanes, but also create artificial congestion on streets and avenues by violating maneuvering rules, thus preventing the free movement of other vehicles.
At the same time, people accompanying the bride and groom’s car do not follow stop-and-go rules on the roads near the wedding palaces and, as a result, cause traffic delays. The NIM requests that drivers participating in the wedding caravans drive in single file on the right side of the road in a single lane so as not to cause congestion on the roads,” the institution’s request highlighted.
