The most common mistakes Russians make when applying for a car license are violating road markings and not turning on turn signals.
This was reported to RIA Novosti on September 7 at the press centre of the Interior Ministry, citing the results of monitoring errors made during the practical exam.
“The most common ones include: violating road marking requirements, failing to use a turn signal, failing to yield (creating an obstacle) to a vehicle or pedestrian who has the right of way.” – the department reported.
They also noted that, among other difficulties, test takers still have trouble parking. This applies both to parking a car in reverse while turning 90 degrees and to parking parallel to the curb while reversing.
