The president of the Public Council for the Development of Taxi, Irina Zaripova, confirmed this week the assessment of the volume of the transport market in the country. We are talking about 1 trillion rubles. TASS reports this today, October 3.
This statement was made by Zaripova at the plenary session of the international conference Taxi-2024 in Sirius.
In total, 1.2 million taxis are currently used in Russia and about 2 million drivers work.
“Our market volume in Russia is about 1 trillion rubles – this is the volume of transport, we contribute about 0.6% of the GDP of the Russian economy.” – said the expert.
