Baku TV prepared a report about the martyr of the Patriotic War, Elmar Nabiyev.
Talking about his memories with his son, Čicek Bilandarli E. Nabiyev said that he felt beforehand that he would become a martyr.
“On August 14, Elmar sent his photos to my brother’s son and told him that if I become a martyr for the Fatherland, you will make a music video. He always fought with his twin sister. When the soldier left, he told him to his sister: “Aysel, you will miss me very much.” It was as if he felt that he was going to be a martyr.
He spoke of how his son was martyred:
“They told us that Elmar was wounded in the ankle. Frankly, I was very happy. I said, he is wounded, he will receive treatment, the war will probably be over by then. Elmar was in the hottest point of Fuzuli. We searched for him for ten days, we traveled all regions of Azerbaijan. Elmar had a tattoo on his chest. He was in the morgue for 10 days. The boy who was evacuated from Alkhanbeyli came to see us. We took him out from under the ground,” he said.
C. Bilanderli said that he saw his son many times in dreams after his martyrdom: “I used to say that if something happens to Elmar, I can’t live without him. But now I have been living without Elmar for four years. God Knows how I live After being martyred, he came to my dreams many times every time I fell asleep. “Mom, I’m alive, I’m not dead,” he says.
