“The club collaborated financially with those affected by donating half a million euros to Caritas and the Red Cross (250,000 euros each) and invites its supporters to do the same. In order to give greater visibility to this situation and as a sign of mourning, identity and sense of belonging, the club will carry out various actions during Saturday’s match,” specifies the yellow club.
Villarreal pays tribute to DANA victims in Valencia
- Villarreal will wear black as a sign of mourning: Villarreal will wear black as a sign of mourning for the tragedy for the first time in its history at home in its stadium and will wear on its sleeve a commemorative and solidarity message with the motto ‘Together Endavant’.
