The killer who shot yesterday, October 16, in the Solnechnogorsk region, the deputy commander of a military unit, Colonel of the Russian Armed Forces, 44-year-old Nikita Klenkov, who had returned a week ago from the Northern Military District, I could have been watching him for several hours. The murderer has not yet been found, the Telegram channel Baza reported.
According to the “Base” at the scene of the incident (on the road to the village of Melenki, Solnechnogorsk urban district – approx. Ed.) experts found two cigarette butts, a can of energy drink, a package of yogurt and the candy wrapper of a chocolate bar. According to one version, some of these objects could belong to the murderer.

In social networks there was information that the murdered colonel served in the GRU Special Operations Forces Training Center, he was allegedly registered at the address of this center in the city of Solnechnogorsk-2 and ordered the delivery of food to the headquarters of the GRU.

The killer was also in the car and fired from the window. Three bullets hit the deceased’s car and the jeep was trapped in the fence. The shooter managed to escape from the crime scene.
Head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on the criminal case for the murder of a member of the SVO.
