Oku.AzAccording to information reported by Gazeta.ru, Russian nutritionist Yelena Kozlovskaya revealed the secrets of drinking the right amount of water to effectively lose weight.

According to the doctor, the norm of individual fluid intake is 25-30 ml per kilogram of body weight.

“However, when you lose weight, this figure increases to 40 ml per kilogram of desired weight,” he said.

The expert stressed that sugary drinks and alcohol are not considered liquids, they are considered the same as food.

“Therefore, if you want to lose weight, it is best to give up sugary drinks and limit alcohol consumption,” she said.

Yelena Kozlovskaya also recommends supplementing diuretic drinks such as tea and coffee with a glass of clean water.

“The optimal amount of liquid to drink in one hour is 200 to 300 ml. Do not drink too much water at once, especially at night, to prevent edema from worsening,” he advises.

However, the expert warned that edema may intensify when switching to the correct water regime and said this is normal.

“Over time, the body will adapt and understand that it is not necessary to store water,” says the nutritionist.

He said that by following these simple recommendations it is possible to lose weight easily and effectively by providing the body with an optimal water balance.
