THE company Ega Perfil, of Villatuerta, has made a foray into the manufacture of profiles for photovoltaic panels. Specifically, the company is in Complete construction phase of two new warehouses which will be dedicated to the manufacture of supports for photovoltaic panels.
Around 5,000 square metres of work is underway for the construction of two new warehouses that will allow the company to enter the renewable energy sector, specifically in photovoltaics.

This year, Ega profile is making significant investments. One example is the new construction project, which required an investment of 5,193,580 euroswhich “will allow the company to increase its productive capacity in the sectors in which it usually works (agriculture and construction), as well as to enter new areas of activity, such as the photovoltaic sector.”

THE entry into the renewable energy sectorwith the manufacture of profiles for photovoltaic panel structures, is part of the company’s strategic expansion plans towards new markets, which until now manufactured profiles for the agricultural and construction sectors.
With the new warehouses, they will increase their production capacity through 13 profiling lineswhich will translate into more than 100,000 tonnes of products per year.
From 2011 to today, in terms of subsidies, this Villatuerta Company 247,526.57 euros were granted for an investment of 2,084,401.24 euros.
