Streaming service Yandex Music has blocked access to Casta’s new album, “New Foreign Rap.”
When searching on the portal, the album cover appears crossed out; when trying to listen to it, the following message appears on the screen:
“The album is not available at the request of Roskomnadzor. Therefore, you will not be able to listen to it or download it.”
Roskomnadzor has demanded that access be restricted “due to the presence in the content of information aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation” in Russia, the press service of the service told RBC.
The company added that according to the law “On information, information technologies and information protection”, the service must comply with the requirements of the RKN within 24 hours, otherwise access to Yandex Music will be limited for millions of users.
As reported EADailyEarlier, activists of the all-Russian public movement “Veterans of Russia” called for an audit of the members of the “Caste” group in financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for them to be recognized as foreign agents. The corresponding appeals were sent to the Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation. Konstantin ChuychenkoProsecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov and the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin.
The reason for the appeal was a post that was published on the group’s social media page a week earlier. It contains criticism of Russia and its people.
