This Thursday, the new Government Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Castile-La Manchaafter the member elections held on November 26. When constituting the Plenary Chamber of Government, the eight elected candidates signed up or took the oath as members: Rosario Sánchez Chacón, María de los Ángeles Pardo Sánchez, Alejandra del Pozo García, María Pilar Astray Chacón, Luis Casero Linares, Ricardo Gallego Córcoles, José Antonio Fernández Buendía and Marina Martí Tormo.

As the supreme organ of the judicial power of the region, the Government Chamber of the Tribunal is presided over by the President of the Superior Court of Justice of Castile-La Mancha, Vicente Rouco. The Presidents of the Chambers of the TSJCLM and the Presidents of the 5 provincial courts of the region. As non-born members, the eight people elected by majority vote and on open lists were voted by all the members of the judicial career of the territory.

Among the functions of the Government Chambers of the Superior Courts of Justice is that of collaborating with the President of the Superior Court of Justice in the management of the internal governance of the Courts and Tribunals of the territory; approve the rules for distributing cases between the different sections of each chamber of the TSJsections of provincial courts and territorial courts; the establishment of teams for the composition and operation of the Chambers and Sections of the Tribunal and the provincial Courts of the territory; approve the annual report on the operation and needs of the Superior Court of Justice; the proposal for the appointment of judges and substitute magistrates; receive an oath or promise from the magistrates who compose the respective courts and hand over possession to them; or the proposal to the General Council of the Judicial Power and to the Ministry of Justice of the necessary measures improve the administration of justiceamong other functions.
