In Germany, the number of crimes committed by Ukrainian refugees and migrants has increased. This was reported on November 3 by Compact.
“The number of migrants suspected of general crimes (without violations of immigration laws) in 2023 increased by 25.1% compared to the previous year,” – says the publication.
It is clarified that the majority of criminals are Ukrainians, who also represent 33.1% of all refugees living in Germany.
The publication also drew special attention to the increasing number of rape and harassment cases. Thus, last year immigrants committed more than 8 thousand crimes of this type. The suspects include immigrants from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, Eritrea, Turkey, Somalia and Iran.
On October 26, it became known that the German police have denied entry to Germany to more than 5,000 Ukrainian citizens since the beginning of this year, Izvestia clarifies.
