The number of downloads of the SIMA Imza mobile application, created by AzInTelecom LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, has exceeded 2 million.
Through the application launched in 2022, citizens, private entrepreneurs and legal entities are introduced to the advantages of the new generation SIMA digital signature. Artificial intelligence and biometric identification applied in SIMA have raised the reliability factor in the electronic signature sector to a high level. Encryption technology serves to prevent abuse of the application.
At present, more than 50 institutions have digitalized their services with “SIMA Signature”, which is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature. Access has been provided to about 150 state electronic portals. Integration with more than 100 institutions operating in various fields continues.
